Family-owned reupholstery in Santa Rosa & Sonoma County

Master’s Touch Upholstery is an established Santa Rosa upholstery shop, founded in 1985, specializing in furniture reupholstery for homes and businesses throughout Sonoma County and the North Bay. What began as a traditional trade became decades devoted to understanding furniture construction, fabric, cushioning, and the details that separate thoughtful upholstery work from simple recovering. We work with individual homeowners as well as interior designers and commercial clients, and we have been Diamond Certified since 2016, an independent, third-party measure of our reputation and workmanship.

Master’s Touch Upholstery works to one philosophy: strip every piece back to the frame, correct what earlier work hid, and rebuild it to be lived on for another generation.

What We Restore

Sofas · Armchairs · Sectionals · Heirlooms

From a single treasured armchair to a full sectional, and from mid-century restorations to contemporary custom builds, we work on the pieces worth doing right. We focus on solid-frame furniture where a rebuild genuinely outperforms a replacement, and we keep the shop small on purpose, so the person who quotes your project is often the same person who rebuilds it.

How We Work

Stripped · Reinforced · Re-covered

It takes patience and a careful eye to rebuild a piece properly. Old fabric, foam, and worn webbing come off completely; solid hardwood frames are re-glued, sanded, and reinforced, then re-sprung and refilled with premium foam. Re-covered in designer-grade fabrics with hand-finished seams, the piece leaves the shop ready to be lived on for years.
